The Captiva / Vision / Joycam folding Single Lens Reflex camera contained an optical system much like the SX-70, but with an untextured reflective Fresnel viewing screen and no intermediate aperture stop. Both the concave mirror and the second eye lens were made with free-form optical surfaces. The taking lens has a remarkable aspheric two-element design that corrects well for all aberrations except axial color; it takes excellent photographs on color film, but would do less well on black-and-white film! 48
