Our final spot configuration for high-resolution digital halftone printing is shown at the top. A new need arose for a high power laser source for end-pumping a fiber laser. For this we decided to arrange the spots as below, and to make each laser output stripe longer for more power. We had the flexibility to make these changes in our print head with minimal new work. 104
